DIA: Beacon


Occupying a former Nabisco box printing factory on the banks of the Hudson River, Dia:Beacon presents Dia’s collection of art from the 1960s to the present as well as special exhibitions, new commissions, and public and education programs. Since its opening in May 2003, Dia:Beacon has helped transform the city of Beacon into a vibrant arts destination for visitors from the region, New York City, and beyond. (www.diaart.org)

Hours: 

January - March: Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon - 11am - 4pm

April - October: Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon - 11am - 6pm

November - December: Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon - 11am - 4pm

Dia:Beacon is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays year-round, and on Thursdays in January, February, and March

Guided Tours: 

Dia:Beacon provides guided tours every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 and 2 pm. Tours are free with admission. Reservations are not necessary but can be made in person at the admissions desk.

Admission:

$15 - General Admission;

$12 - Students/Seniors;

Free - Children under 12 years

Free admission on Saturdays and Sundays for City of Beacon residents (including the adjacent Hudson Valley communities of Chelsea, Fishkill, and Glenham)
